Hi all,
I’m Walshy. Part of the team at Neiro CTO.
I’m going to approach this from a slightly different angle to others. I could point out how Neiro CTO has always done its best to rise above the constant, toxic PvP sniping that has had a terrible effect on the narrative, or how we have open, fair and transparent governance and visibility on holdings, but that has been covered in previous posts by many a poster.
I’d like to bring the attention to the responsibility that OTD has to consider who would be the best custodian of the IP, and who would be best placed to head up such an important responsibility.
With that in mind, I would like to bring your attention to the leader of our CTO… “S”, and why I believe he would be best placed to be entrusted with this narrative.
I was fortunate enough to find this project in the very early hours of the inception of all the Neiros when the Dev had just rugged what was to become the CTO. At the time, I was in all of the Neiro projects, looking for the “one”. What became apparent almost immediately was that the level of capability, intelligence, and organisation around the CTO project was light years beyond the other competitors. This was led by S who was assuming his first CTO leadership role (something I still scarcely can believe to this day I immediately bought in to the CTO project because of this. I bought in to the vision, in to the man leading the project as much as the narrative, despite other Neiros being many, MANY multiples higher at the time, I believed in the conviction I saw from the very first minute of this project and it has thus far proved to be the best decision of my life.
From the getgo, it was clear that there was a purpose behind what S was doing and where he wanted to take the project. When we sat at around 2m market cap, he stated that this token would change the face of how memecoins are viewed. That this token would have charity, and doing good at its heart and would work to serve as a beacon to the industry of how memes can make a difference. It is important to note that this was said before any of our catalysts (Vitalik selling, Binance listing JS intervention etc). S had this vision when we were a microcap, and other Neiros were sitting at many hundreds of millions MC.
There has never been a point where S has wavered from this path, and has matched his conviction, not only with his own actions, but with his own money. He has backed up everything he said he was going to do time, and time, and time again, and never left me in any shadow of doubt that our project was in the most capable and safest of hands under his leadership.
S has donated circa 2% of entire supply to our team wallet. This represents over half of his own personal holdings. Show me another leader who has willingly done this, and I will be surprised. These funds have been used to finance our charity initiatives, to aid in the development and launch of the Neiro Foundation, and to help to grow the project to where it stands today. Having funds is one thing. The stewardship behind them is totally another. S has made the correct call on a literally infinite amount of occasions now on behalf of the project.
The community revere him, myself included. He is always open, transparent and willing to enter discourse with anyone, even in difficult times, of which we have faced many. He encourages community involvement at all times. I have ebenfitted from this by being allowed to run a charity initiative to donate to the dog shelter where I adopted my own dog from. I approached S in the very early days of the project. He agreed to my suggestion and filled the donation from the Neiro treasury. He has allowed, and indeed encouraged community members to actively seek out good causes and supported them in bringing them to fruition on countless occasions, resulting in us having donated over $200k in the 4 months we have been alive to charitable causes ranging from dog shelters, to schools, to humanitarian disaster relief efforts.
I was lucky enough to be invited on to the team a couple of months ago, and have from there been able to witness the incredible amount of selfless time and effort S puts in to the project. So much of what he has done has gone unknown and under the radar of even the community. He works tirelessly for the betterment of the project, despite having to head up his own business IRL. He is capable, intelligent, and believes passionately both in Neiro, and the fact that we should carry on the Do ONLY Good Everyday mantle that is so intrinsically linked to our narrative. I find it intensely frustrating to see criticism levelled at him. I do not know how he stays so calm amongst the noise as he is a fundamentally decent man, a good man, I know this personally, and the constant attacks on him from nefarious parts of the space are both unwarranted, and wholly undeserved.
S is our biggest asset. He would be an incredible asset to OTD. Anyone would be lucky to work with him. He is highly capable, kind, genuine, passionate about the cause, formidable. I would want him in my corner, and would hate for him to be in the other one.
When considering where to grant IP, OTG should also think on who would be a worthy steward for this wonderful piece of crypto and internet folklore. I venture there is nobody more worthy, or deserving then S.
Everything I have said above can be validated. I urge anyone with any doubts to join our telegram. All of S’s vision, and leadership can be verified in our pinned posts, right back to the formation of our CTO. You will see that he has always urged us from DAY 1 to try to do good as a community, to create a space and a project that not only we, but the whole industry can be proud of. He aligns with the ethos OTD aim to follow themselves and would make a wonderful partner. Read the posts back, his vision hasn’t changed, and there is no better man for the job.
Thank you for your time
Walshy
