Fun competition for Doge fans

Overview:

‘Infinite Loading’ is a fun viral competition for Doge fans that runs through a dedicated website featuring the following mechanics:

  1. Participants visit a website that intentionally operates in an infinite loading mode. Example of the site.
  2. At a random point within a 24-hour timeframe, the site will actually begin loading and display a single form: “Enter your email.”
  3. The first participant to notice that and enter their email address will be declared the winner.
  4. Prize: 25K Dogecoins. Or the equivalent in the Doge NFT.

Why it will work:

Proven model: the concept draws inspiration from the successful Finger on the App campaign, demonstrating the viability of this type of high-stakes, attention-grabbing competition.

Viral potential: the inherent absurdity and suspense of the competition are highly shareable. The concept is easily explained, making it ideal for social media and traditional media coverage.

Media buzz: Pre-launch press releases will generate anticipation and excitement, culminating in a massive surge of traffic at launch.

Proven track record of executing similar stuff. One of my latest projects Elon Jump finished 2nd on Product Hunt, and was also featured on The Useless Web. The Infinite Loading site I mentioned above has gained decent traction on Reddit too.

I propose:

Executing this idea with Own the Doge. The campaign offers an opportunity to gain tens of millions of WOWs for the most beloved community on the internet.

Things I need your help with:

  1. Determine the prize value. I propose 25K Dogecoins (or the equivalent in the Doge NFT) which is about $10K. The value can be reduced up to 2.5K Dogecoins (about $1K), but I assume it will not bring enough attention and participants because stakes are not high enough.
  2. Repost the ‘Competition Post’ on X to help generate initial buzz.
  3. Define and reward the winner. For transparency, I link your email address to the form, so you will be able to track it.

Things I handle:

  1. Website preparation, operation, and maintenance.
  2. Reaching out to the press to create more buzz before the launch.

I’m just seeing this for the first time! I think between doge day and the holidays everything has been difficult to catch up.

I absolutely love this stupid idea as a game (because I’ve played one before ) The useless web is one of my favorite sites too.

The best virality from stunts like these is all the fud that comes with it because only one person wins :skull:

Since it could be quickly deployed, this would be good for a New Year’s Day countdown? Even funnier to have to guess what global timeline it would happen on :joy:
